Great Polish food & groceries. She doesn't dumb it down just because she's the only game in town. You can sometimes get frozen things to take home from here. The dining area is tiny so bring your friends 1 or 2 at a time.

My new favorite food is BIGOS! And pork pierogies a close second. Awesome homemade food to eat there or take home. Also some groceries and a few bakery items. And a great owner!

My husband and I loved the food, the atmosphere, and talking with Bogusha herself. The entire experience was a real treat!

First visit today and worth the 1 1/2 hr trip! Small and friendly and took home some pierogis and bunch of goodies.Wow understand husband runs the great donut shop in Damariscotta which will be on our radar as we live close buy.Update just had the stuffed cabbage—Wow

Best Polish food in New England. The best people running the shop. I am not from the city but was so impressed that this will be a daily stop when I'm up North. Could not possible recommend more. They are the best.

Their fresh sausage is delicious. It comes frozen, in large link, but boils up just fine!

I'm from upstate NY and we always had Kielbasa Christmas morning. I can't tell you how excited I was to find this little gem. I love this place. They are so kind and they sound just like my granpa and his sister. I feel like I'm home. I come home with so treats when I go here.

Wonderful, homemade food in a cozy small space. Interesting grocery items, cold case with sausage, cheese, etc and a freezer full of goodies to take home. There are only three small tables, though, so if you have a group of friends who want to eat there, call ahead. But go soon!

Stuffed cabbage overfilled with rice was not good. I prefer pierogi fried with onions and not soggy/boiled? Not going back & I was excited to find a place for pierogi, paczki and back home Polish foods ☹️

Owner/cook/Polish lady is very nice. Food is very good. Especially the stuffed cabbage. Eat in, take out, Polish deli, Polish specialty foods.

The selection of traditional sausages is outstanding, the pirogues are great, and Bogusha is always fun to talk to. I stop whenever I'm in the area, and it's always worth it.

A family tradition; nice selection of fresh meats and pantry foods. And a wonderful proprietor. We shop for every holiday AND when we just need a Polish food fix. Truly a favorite in Portland.

A complete delight! If this woman is not the real deal then give her a Grammy! Unique shop with authentic old world from scratch food. Plenty of unique items for your own pantry as well.

Bogusha's is a wonderful place. The owner made sure that we had a great meal. Roast pork, mashed potatoes, gravey and even cabbage with kielbasa. She is great.

I found this wonderful charming and very inviting polish restaurant. The piorgies are my passion. The owner is a joy to share a story with. I highly recommend this place could I give it 10 stars?

Definitely eastern european home cooking. Take out fresh, frozen, or eat there. Sauces and dishes. My only bugaboo was stuffed cabbage mostly stuffed with rice. Grew up with mostly meat inside.
